We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic and performance signals, PostHog for product analytics and funnels, Sentry for error and performance monitoring, and Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session recordings. These tools may process page views, device and browser details, referring URLs, route names, feature usage, click and scroll interactions, error context, and approximate location derived from network data.

We do not intentionally send passwords, OTPs, payment credentials, raw payment IDs, raw order IDs, tax identity details, or private free-text messages to analytics tools. Sensitive account, billing, profile, and form surfaces are masked for recording tools where supported.

Optional analytics is off until you accept it. Microsoft Clarity is used for anonymous, consented heatmaps and permitted session recordings; Bullion Brains does not attach your account ID, name, or email to Clarity. PostHog is used for typed product events and funnels without duplicate session replay, and Sentry records operational errors with error-only replay. Authentication, payment, billing, profile, settings, onboarding, and administration routes are excluded from passive replay.

We may share information only on a need-to-know basis with:

• Payment processors, banking partners, and invoicing or accounting service providers.
• Cloud hosting, analytics, monitoring, authentication, and communication vendors that support the platform, including Cloudflare, PostHog, Sentry, and Microsoft Clarity where configured.
• Professional advisers, auditors, regulators, law-enforcement agencies, or courts where disclosure is legally required.
• Successors or acquirers in connection with a merger, reorganisation, financing, or sale of business assets.

We do not sell personal information to unrelated third parties for their independent marketing use.

We maintain reasonable security practices and procedures designed to protect information from unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

These measures may include role-based access controls, encrypted transmission where appropriate, audit logging, vendor access restrictions, and periodic operational reviews. No system is fully risk free, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Analytics and observability data is retained only for operational, security, debugging, product improvement, and reporting purposes. Clarity's standard recordings are retained by Microsoft for 30 days and remain anonymous to Bullion Brains accounts; PostHog stores typed product events without Bullion Brains PostHog session replay; Sentry replay is sampled only around errors. When retention is no longer necessary, we will delete, anonymise, or securely archive the information in accordance with applicable law and operational requirements.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your information, correction of inaccurate information, or withdrawal of consent for future processing where consent is the relevant basis.

You may also write to us if you want to close your account, opt out of optional analytics, or have questions about data handling. We may retain limited records where required for fraud prevention, tax, legal defence, or regulatory compliance.

Some service providers or infrastructure vendors, including analytics and observability vendors, may process data outside your country. Where this occurs, we expect such parties to use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the service provided.
